more definite news on Ali, she is going away for a week to stay with her DB and SIL, they will look after her, she lost an other pound, total weight loss now since mid July, 9.5 kilogrammes. Not good !!

The quilt that was made as a memory treasure for your husband must have been the most wonderful suprise and must also show that you are highly regarded by all these ladies.

Hi Helen, you are so very welcome, I haven't had time yet to have a good look around at A Crafty Natter, but I will !! the present the girls made for me and Ken , blew me away, I never had an idea, I'm so very ordinairy, that's why I didn't understand it, but besides the quilt, there was a booklet with photo's of some of the girls who'd worked on the quilt, and .... a giftvoucher for $70,00 to be spend at my most favourite online shop, www.123stitch.com and yes Helen, I have had a difficult time with Ken dying so quickly after he was diagnosed with lung cancer, but other girls have had some traumatic times too !! anyway,I am very very happy with their friendship, and treasure it very much. funny thing how friendship can grow isn't it ? hope to see you soon again, I like to give you a hug,
